BEFORE YOU BUILD

Keep building?

These printed details cannot stay on their wall or floor after this change. You can remove only these markings and continue, or cancel to move them first.

Your existing build stays saved until you choose.
A LITTLE GUIDANCE

One room. Make it yours.

  1. Choose a surface. Click the floor or any wall. Switch between inside and outside faces above the bottom panel.
  2. Add character. Choose Materials, Wall details, or Floor details. Search the thumbnail library, then place, rotate and scale artwork. The grid stays exactly one inch.
  3. Make an open space. Choose Open floor when creating a new piece for a courtyard, entrance or terrace. It uses the same modular outside dimensions as rooms and keeps all floor materials, details and grid controls. Elevated floors need support underneath.
  4. Make an entrance. Doors and Windows create real cutouts. Add several, move them along a wall, and use printed borders around them.
  5. Layer your scene. Stack details, reorder layers, or Ctrl/⌘-click several stamps to copy a whole arrangement. Ctrl/⌘+C, Ctrl/⌘+V, Delete, and Undo work here.
  6. Connect and stack. Slide new rooms edge to edge and align doorways in the bottom panel. Stack matching room sizes and materials. Tabs and slots include loose locators for easy lift-off; glue assembly keeps clean, smooth wall tops. Use Level access to add printed stairs, a closed hatch or a stair door. These editable details represent travel between stories while floors stay solid.
  7. Roof & grid. Add a removable flat roof or shallow 20° pitched roof when its panels fit both machines. Pitched roofs have no attic floor; lifting the shell opens directly into the room. Turn it into a balcony, choose its railing edges, or hide it to edit inside. Turn the floor and roof grids on or off and choose their print colors independently.
  8. Build your collection. Create or duplicate rooms with independent themes. Your collection is saved on this device; download it to keep a backup or open it elsewhere.
  9. Choose your build material. Select a room or floor, then use Build material above the model to choose ⅛″ basswood or clear acrylic. The Materials tab changes printed textures; Build material changes the physical stock and its cut joints.
  10. Order a kit or SVG files. Choose Review scene & order for every placed piece, or review one room from your collection. Select Order a printed kit or Cut it yourself. SVG requests include full-size laser-cut sheets for every physical panel, without printed artwork. Enter your name and email to request a quote. No online payment is taken; your private receipt provides the SVG download when the workshop enables it.

The selected dimensions measure the playable floor inside the walls, in exact one-inch squares. New rooms have flush edges with no bottom connectors. Older saved kits retain their original connector border. Printed details are flat artwork, so obstacles stay easy to move and customize.

Why aren’t larger sizes available?

Room size is the clear play area. Every floor, wall, roof and accessory panel must fit both machines at actual size. The build plate counter shows how many shared cut-and-print plates the complete kit needs.
